Federal and State Hunting Permits, Massive Accumulation. Huge accumulation in three large boxes, hundreds to probably thousands of items with absolutely no organization — the collector purchased items and then put them into a pile, mostly staying in their original envelopes or on lot cards, includes both Federal and substantial numbers of state items, with stamps, blocks, some sheets, large amount of covers and more, no prints as they are offered in lot 999, a great many items are on Sam Houston Co. lot sheets with prices up to $500 or more, the Sam Houston material also includes invoices showing some thousand dollar + items but these have been mostly removed so viewers cannot rely on invoices when examining this hoard, which defies easy description but includes numerous early stamps with substantial duplication beginning with RW1-RW2 including plate no. singles and handstamp cancelled, stamps on licenses, illustrated covers, etc., the bottom layer of one box is also cheap unrelated stamps not counted in our estimate, in person viewing is highly recommended as this lot does not lend itself to PDF scanning or a comprehensive inventory, the winner will spend lots of quality time breaking down this hoard, but the work should be rewarded, total collector purchase prices are many multiples of our estimate

Federal and State Hunting Permits, Artist Prints. Large box with approximately 140 prints, includes both Federal and state prints with some duplication, a great many were purchased from Sam Houston Co. with retail prices up to and exceeding $1,000, this lot defies easy PDF scanning but we have linked a spreadsheet with an approximate (though not necessarily comprehensive) inventory, still, in-person viewing is recommended, overall a substantial and valuable accumulation, consignor purchase prices are many multiples of our estimate
